Comic Review: Irredeemable #6 (Boom! Studios) By Rudy T.

With time running out the Paradigm prepare to find Modeus.

Location: The Plutonian's Citadel.

Irredeemable #6 opens with the Plutonian having an increasingly rare moment of compassion as he watches a young boy coping with his powers until a familiar distress call attracts his attention. As The Paradigm scramble to regain control after Qubit's Modeus androids had begun running wild, they realize that one of the androids has set off an old Plutonian ultrasonic signal. As they teleport to the Plutonian's citadel, Charybdis stays behind to delay the Plutonian's wrath and reveal a past hidden sin.

Issue 6 of Irredeemable is fluid and filled with panels that command the reader's attention. The marriage of Waid and Krause as writer and artist grows stronger with each passing issue. This series is one of the better ones I've read in a while and deserves to be on your pull lists.

Writer: Mark Waid
Artist: Peter Krause
