Toy News: A Tale of Two Aprils

The figure so nice we made her twice!

You might recall back at SDCC we had our exclusive April O'Neil figure in a blue costume. Well, there's more in store for everyone's favorite TMNT heroine, because NECA is happy to reveal that April is going yellow and green!

Whether you prefer the April O'Neil computer programmer from the original Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman comics (on which this sculpt is based) or the reporter from the children's cartoon, there's no denying she's one of the most memorable characters in the world of TMNT. Able to rescue just as often as she needs to be rescued, April was a prototype for strong female characters everywhere and is a great addition to NECA's ongoing Turtles line.

We all remember the yellow April from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, and the green variant is just one more way for collectors to get their fill. Like the exclusive blue outfit, the yellow and green Aprils come with two Mousers with articulated jaws and have ball joints in the necks, shoulders, hips, hinges at the elbows, knees and ankles, and swivels at the waist, wrists, and cuffs.

The green and yellow-costumed April O'Neil will hit stores by the end of this month, and of course they'll also be available online at our Amazon storefront.

Keep it tuned to necaonline.com for more info on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other lines from your favorite games and movies.
