Comic News: Comic Themes for iGoogle

Today at Comic-Con, Google introduced a new collection of iGoogle themes focused on comics (www.google.com/comicsthemes). iGoogle is all about personalizing your homepage the way you want it with the stuff you like.

We've teamed up with more than a dozen comics publishers and wide range of artists to create a collection of over 50 themes in total, giving them a new canvas to bring their comics to life in millions of iGoogle pages. With these new themes, our comics partners have an opportunity to connect with their communities and fan bases through a new dynamic medium. Whether users are hardcore comic readers or simply admirers of the illustrations and graphics, we hope the visuals from nostalgic comics like Charles Schulz's Peanuts, iconic heroes like DC's Superman and Marvel's The Hulk, colorful manga stories like Rumiko Takahashi's RIN-NE, and work from alternative comics creators like Dan Clowes will provide them with more choices to reflect their personal style and interests.
